About me

My name is Michelle Aline McGugan and I am the person behind MAM CREATIONS! (MAM are my initials). I have been making quilts for over 20 years now and I am lucky enough to have had the opportunity to turn my hobby into a business. Starting MAM CREATIONS has been a dream come true. I am also a stay-at-home mom of 5 amazing boys who keep me busy...

Beginning of the Bears: My journey to making Memory Bears began after my husband's Grandfather, lovingly known as "Pa", passed away in September 2017. Upon hearing that "Nan", his wife of over 70 years was sleeping with his shirt under her pillow every night, it made me want to create something beautiful and meaningful for her to remember him and bring a sense of comfort to her.

That is when I decided I was going to create my first Memory Bear!

My goal was to provide her with a very special, huggable keepsake filled with memories of the incredible person that Pa was. My hope is that her bear will hold many memories and with each hug provide comfort to her and make her smile.
