About me :


I am a scholar and internationally published author of two academic books and several peer-reviewed journal articles and Blogs. With over 25 years of teaching experience at universities in India, United States and Israel, I have a deep understanding of international higher education, curriculum design, and Study Abroad college admissions.


My research is multidisciplinary spanning a range of Liberal Arts areas including Gender, Migration, Identity Studies, Indian Diaspora, Jewish Anthropology and Israel Studies.

I am certified as an Online Faculty from American University (USA) and trained in Syllabus-design, Digital Pedagogies and Hybrid Course-design .Since 2013, I have had hands-on experience in using Tech in Higher-Ed.


I have designed and taught courses on Research Methodology at US universities and mentored several student research projects.


Trained in manuscript editing ( New York University), I am a peer reviewer for several international journals.I also serve on the board of a UK-based academic journal.


I have lived/ researched in Russia, Israel, Japan, Ethiopia, France and the United States and have wide-ranging exposure to the world of Diplomacy, Foreign Policy and IR. My cross-cultural exposure to diverse societies and systems of education equips me with sensitivity to understand and navigate diversity in social, cultural and political contexts.


As an invited speaker, I have lectured at Yale, Cornell, Oxford, Georgetown, Univ of Penn, Ann Arbor, Michigan, NYU, Tel Aviv University and Sciences Po (Paris), The Library of Congress( USA) and other reputed institutions.

Mentoring & Career Advice:


After acquiring wide-ranging experience as an educator, scholar, writer and editor I am now a mentor and trainer for early- career professionals, and those who wish to enhance their research publications.
