Geology

A laboratory course that examines the geologic earth processes that may include: the scientific method and elementary chemistry, the study of minerals and rocks, plate tectonics, glaciations, and the earth’s geologic history with emphasis on southern Idaho and more. A portion of this course is taught outside in the elements, away from school campus and involves intensive field work.
