Calvin the Christmas Tree 🎄
Stephen Bowling, the award-winning children’s book author of “Calvin the Christmas Tree” will be on hand on Saturday, December 6th and will be available all afternoon to sign copies of the charming book for purchase at a discounted price. A portion of the proceeds from the book sales will be donated to the Madison Exchange Club. Sherry Farmer, Vice Principal of Neck River Elementary School, will be on the Green to read the heartwarming story at 1:00 PM. Sweet treats will be available for the children.
“Calvin the Christmas Tree” is a beautifully illustrated, heartwarming children’s book. When Calvin, the smallest tree on the farm, finally gets a chance to become a Christmas tree, he only has one day to prove himself or be left alone and abandoned on Christmas. Will Calvin be left out in the cold and miss Christmas or will one special family make him their shining star?
Tree Care Instructions
Congratulations on your purchase of a premium Christmas Tree! Once home, place your tree in fresh clean water as soon as possible. Don't bruise the fresh cut surface or get it dirty. If needed, cut 1 inch from the trunk. Trees can be temporarily stored for several days in a cool location such as a garage. Place the freshly cut trunk in a bucket that is kept full of water.
