MUSIC

I run three musical groups in Petersfield: an 'a cappella' choir, a choral society and a brass quintet. We sing and play for enjoyment, and occasionally raise money for charities.

The FREE RADICALS

The FREE RADICALS is a mixed vocal ensemble of eight experienced singers (SATB) which sings unaccompanied songs in close harmony. The repertoire is huge and ranges from 13th century to the present. Arrangements are those used by the King's Singers, the Swingle Singers, Manhattan Transfer and many others, including some home-made arrangements.

QUINTESSENTIAL BRASS

QUINTESSENTIAL BRASS has been running in Petersfield since 1991 and follows the standard composition of two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. The group occasionally holds its own concerts and has played at all kinds of public events.

THE PETERSFIELD CHOIR

A 35-strong SATB choir - see www.thepetersfieldchoir.co.uk

In addition, I sing 2nd Bass in the Harlequin Chamber Choir -  a top 'a cappella' ensemble based in Cranliegh, Surrey.  Please see their website: www.harlequinchamberchoir.org.uk

These groups are available for hire, or maybe for your charity event.  Please e-mail steve.sargent999@gmail.com
