When the Mad City Magic the Gathering Guild was founded back in 1995, a bunch of local members began stockpiling cards, having the foresight that one day they maybe worth something. Admittedly, during the "Y2K" scare, some of our more 'skittish' members began overstocking (hoarding, really,) and now the Mad City Magic the Gathering Guild has literally thousands upon thousands of overstocked cards that are taking up wayyy too much space in our storage unit on Madison's west side.
