Presently I am back in the UK.
I am now based in Balloch, Scotland at the southern end of Loch Lomond by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park where I am the Countryside Ranger for West Dunbartonshire Council.
I'm back being a generalist again and having started in this role in December 2021 I'm still trying to expand out a bit more and am getting back in touch with everything around me not just those that are small and furry (see my last job role in the previous adventures page).
I'm enjoying getting out and about more and seeing what West Dunbartonshire has to offer and celebrating it with as many people as possible.
I've recently (June 2024) created a local digital resource to help everyone connect more with the local area - through nature connection and outdoor learning. Originally created to help local educators but also a useful resource for adults and with lots of resources that could be used across the UK - Nature Connection and Outdoor Learning Padlet
I'm also part of the committe for the local Outdoor and Woodland Learning group https://owlscotland.org/local-groups/west-dunbartonshire-owl-group/ helping to get as many people out enjoying and protecting nature as possible.
