About Me

I am married to my beautiful wife Karen who works at Magnolia Public School. We have been married since 1994. We have two sons, Sean and Jimmy. They were heavily involved in cross country and track during their high school and college careers so Karen and I have been to quite a few races in our day!! They have both graduated from St. Joseph's University. Sean is an actuary for J.P. Gallagher Insurance company and Jimmy works in Canon's accounting department.

I am currently in my sixteenth year as a math teacher at Sterling High School. I have been teaching for 25 years. I currently teach Algebra I and Geometry. I graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1985. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Trenton State College (I still refuse to call it The College of New Jersey!!) and a master's degree in Mathematics Education from Widener University. I also teach two courses at Rowan College at Gloucester County. I teach Pre-Calculus there as well as Mathematics for Management. The Mathematics for Management is in an online format which is very interesting!

I generally do not like pictures of myself unless I am on that boat pictured to the right. That is a picture I took of the sunset at Mallory Square in Key West. Key West is probably my favorite place to visit. It is extremely laid back which suits my lifestyle quite nicely. I am a fan of just about all types of music but Jimmy Buffett is by far my favorite. I am a huge parrothead and can not even take a guess at how many shows I've been to. I also enjoy playing guitar. I play out around here and down the shore and I hope to have that as my career once I retire from teaching!

I am looking forward to having a great year with you all!!
