May 23-26 2016 @ University of Warwick, UK

Organizers: Diane Maclagan and Thomas Kahle

The purpose of the workshop is to bring Macaulay2 developers together

with those who would like to share or develop their skills at writing

packages for Macaulay2 and those interested in developing the

corresponding mathematical algorithms. We are interested in participants

with a broad range of experience with Macaulay2, from very experienced

to novices. The novices will have the opportunity to learn about

Macaulay2 from the more experienced participants.

The format of the workshop will be similar to previous Macaulay2 workshops. More details are on the workshop wiki page, which is

here.

Registration for this workshop is a two-fold process: Fill in the google-doc here (largely mathematical information)

and the Warwick MRC registration page here (housing and financials). There is partial funding available. The registration deadline for funding is Friday April 1, 2016.

Directions to the university can be found here. From Heathrow, take National Express to Coventry Pool Meadow, and then bus or cab. From Birmingham airport, take the train to Coventry, and then bus or cab. Warning: The university is not in the town of Warwick (this is 8 miles away).
