Brief Introduction

Doctor Lei Zou received the B.Sc. degree in automation from Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, Beijing, China, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree in control science and engineering from China University of Petroleum (Beijing Campus), Beijing, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2016. From October 2013 to October 2015, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Department of Computer Science, Brunel University London, Uxbridge, United Kingdom. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Shandong University of Science and Technology, China.

Since 2019, he has been working as a Research Fellow with the Department of Computer Science, Brunel University London, Uxbridge, United Kingdom. His current research interests include control and filtering of networked systems, moving-horizon estimation, and state estimation subject to outliers. He has published twenty eight (34) papers in prestigious journals including Automatica and IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control.

Doctor Zou is currently serving as an Associate Editor for Neurocomputing and International Journal of Systems Science; a Member of IEEE and a Member of Chinese Association of Automation; and a very active reviewer for many international journals including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Neural Network and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems, and IET Control Theory & Applications. He has served as a Guest Editor for the Special Issue on Filtering, Control and Fault Estimation for Networked Control Systems, Journal of Control Science and Engineering; an invited session organizer for the Invited Session on Protocol-based stochastic filtering and control, 36th Chinese Control Conference.
