Teaching philosophies I hold true:

Short biography:

This is my fifteenth year as an educator and I am so excited to support students and teachers as our campus 504/Testing Coordinator on our campus.  Previously, I served five years as a Reading Language Arts and Social Studies Instructional Coach on a middle school campus.  I attended Texas Christian University and obtained a degree in Business Administration.  I worked for a large bank as a Marketing Analyst until I found my true calling as a teacher.  My teaching career began with five wonderful years of teaching third graders - the last three years of teaching third grade, I represented our team as lead teacher.  In the following two years, I was very fortunate to teach the amazing READ 180 intervention program.  I've also served as a RtI Specialist which involved working with students in a small group setting to help them learn based on unique learning styles.

Additionally, I hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University, where I studied to obtain my principal certification.

On a personal note, I am blessed to have my wonderful husband, Ash, and three amazing kiddos of my own - Alisha, Addison and Cade.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible as well as reading.  Our family loves to travel and enjoys visiting and learning about new places.
