Welcome to my webpage.
I am a Research Economist at the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation (CC-ME) at the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission in Ispra (VA), Italy. [What do we do at CC-ME?] [My institutional webpage]
My research interests center around migration economics, welfare and risky behaviour and counterfactual impact evaluation.
I have a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex.
Over the years I have taught different graduate and undergraduate courses, both as Teaching Assistant and as Teaching Fellow (Lecturer), at the University of Essex, UK, and at the Università di Cagliari, Italy.
I have also taught several training courses in Counterfactual Impact Evaluation within the European Commission and at the European Court of Auditors.
