About me

I am currently a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Queen Mary University of London, working on the cognitive processes related to metacognition, introspection of decisions, freedom of choice and action awareness.

Until Oct 2022, I was a Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and the Experimental Psychology Department of UCL.

As a postodoctoral fellow, I worked with Patrick Haggard in the Action and Body Research Group on volition and metacognition. Before that, I worked with Nick Yeung at Oxford University studying the dynamics and neural substrate of metacognition and error-detection, using behavioural and fMRI techniques.

I did my PhD in Unicog lab in Neurospin, France under the supervision of Stanislas Dehaene where I studied the link between metacognition and consciousness, in the particular case of error detection, using MEEG.

Since June 2019, I have been the Executive Director of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness.
