Loujaina Abdelwahed

I’m the Head of Economic Research at Revelio Labs and a tenured Assistant Professor of Economics at The Cooper Union. I’m interested in using alternative data to measure the economy.

At Revelio Labs, I conduct research using one of the world’s largest HR datasets to understand how the U.S. workforce responds to policy shifts and broader economic and technological developments. I contribute to media coverage, and advise companies on workforce strategy. 

At Cooper Union, I teach econometrics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics to students from the schools of Engineers, Art, and Architecture.

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.A. from the American University in Cairo.
