Research
My current research agenda focuses on the development of Integral Human Development Ethics a universal ethical (non-religious) approach to development. This approach draws from the Integral Human Development found in Catholic Social Tradition, as well as early works in development ethics, economics, and especially works in social political philosophy and ethical theory. I seek to provide a new integral approach to ethical development that addresses the role of individual development ethicists as situated persons within complex relationship of justice. I include moral and empirical arguments for why great inequality in standard of living is bad for the well-being of both the rich and the poor, and why radical solidarity is the best human response.
