Explore the smaller hamlets and roads leading to Miller Lake, Dyer's Bay, Dorcas Bay, Stokes Bay, Gillies Lake, Pike Bay, Howenvale/Red Bay, Cape Croker, Hope Bay, and Little Cove. Drive along the numerous roads and sideroads to find other hidden gems including art studios, museums, farmers markets, and numerous viewing areas.

There are boat launches throughout the peninsula including Lions Head, Dyers Bay, Tobermory, Oliphant, and Wiarton.
Hiking Trails - National Park trails plan at least a half a day on trails to view Indian Head Cove, the Natural Arch and the Grotto. Many of these hikes still penetrate remote areas, so take precautions at all times.

Swimming & Canoeing/Kayaking - Loki's Lodge has a fabulous cobble beach, with shallow swimming, (Note: Georgian Bay can be refreshing, bring your wet-suit if you can't brave the elements. Numerous Sandy Beaches are located a short drive away including Lions Head, Blacks Creek, Hope Bay, Singing Sands, Sauble Bay, and Wiarton. A few fabulous places to canoe or kayak include Emmett Lake, Tobermory, Lions Head, Wiarton, Lake Huron shoreline and Georgian Bay shoreline. There are also many inland lakes and rivers to explore.
Weather can change quickly on the peninsula, inclement weather may occur and storms can pass quickly. Most of the time the water is very calm but it can change quickly and get rough, check the weather here before going out on the water or planning your day trips.

Bird Watching On the Bruce - www.bpbo.ca - On the waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay you can find common loon, mergansers and gulls throughout the year. During the busy migration (early spring and late fall) you can find grebes, cormorants, scoters, oldsquaw, goldeneye, bufflehead, terns and other transient waterfowl.
