How does ZeroTouch work?

ZeroTouch is a combination of magnetic smartphone car phone mount and voice-command app. The ZeroTouch mount pairs to your Android phone through a Bluetooth connection and lets the ZeroTouch App know when it’s docked in the car. When your phone is docked on the mount, the app is activated and runs in the background, without impairing other smartphone functions or most in-car Bluetooth wireless equipment. The ZeroTouch App offers voice texting, music, navigation and calling functions. When the phone is removed from the mount, the app is automatically deactivated.

What are the requirements to use ZeroTouch?

ZeroTouch requires an Android phone with OS version 4.4 or later. The ZeroTouch App is free but you need a ZeroTouch mount to activate it.

What is the difference between the ZeroTouch Dashboard and ZeroTouch Air Vent mounts?

ZeroTouch Air Vent is a mount that clips onto most car vents. It’s a small and portable magnetic mount.

ZeroTouch Dashboard is a dashboard and windshield mount. Its suction cup has a special reusable adhesive that enables it to stick directly to most dashboards or windshields without the need for an adapter.

Both mounts use the same ZeroTouch App and provide the same voice-command software functionality.

How do I know if ZeroTouch is compatible with my car?

Air Vent

The ZeroTouch Air Vent mount is designed to fit most air vent slats 1-5mm thick. It may not work on slats that are circular, deeply recessed, or uniquely shaped.

Dashboard

ZeroTouch Dashboard is a dashboard and windshield mount. Its suction cup has a special reusable adhesive that enables it to stick directly to most dashboards or windshields without the need for an adapter. Depending on the material of your dashboard, ZeroTouch Dashboard mount may leave a temporary indentation or residue behind. Don't worry, the indentation will rise back to normal in a few days, and you can use a leather or vinyl cleaner to remove the slight residue from the suction cup. If you're concerned about possibly leaving a mark on your dashboard, we recommend attaching the mount onto your windshield or to try out ZeroTouch Air Vent instead.
