Logicedges Music    

Logicedge Music is recorded instrumental ambient music to accompany Logicedges Videos. The instruments are piano, soprano saxophone &/or keyboard played by musician partner MediumWave. Many of the recordings were made around 2012. 

Logicedges started exploring connections between music, graphics and mathematics & physics. The first YouTube video in 2012 was a deep zoom into the 'Logistic map', a graph producing a chaotic but beautiful tree-like shape. Music was played on an old piano with a simple, not-quite repeating tune loosely related to the patterns of numbers produced by the equation of the Logistic map. 

More Logicedges videos with piano and soprano saxophone music were made exploring and connecting maths, music and graphics. The videos show the incredible, beautiful and unpredictable patterns that arise out of logical fixed and understood equations. Logicedges websites present videos, music and explanations for how the patterns are produced.
