Who We Are

LMRA was formed in 1974 as the Lockheed Georgia Management Retirees Association (LGMRA). LGMRA was an unincorporated organization affiliated with the Lockheed-Georgia Chapter of the National Management Association. Membership was open to former salaried employees, former employees and military personnel retired from the AFPRO/DPRO, and retired technical representatives who supplied the Lockheed facility in Marietta, GA.

In 2008 the organization was renamed the LMRA and the Constitution and Bylaws were revised to include into the membership all Lockheed Martin retirees, salaried and hourly, retirees associated with the AFPRO/DPRO, and retired technical reps who supply Lockheed Martin. Affiliation is maintained with the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association and close coordination with leadership at Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems in Georgia is considered essential.

The association has approximately 282 members and always welcomes new members.
