NYS Concealed Carry 18-Hour Mandatory Course
This is the mandatory training now required by New York State to be able to apply for or renew a concealed carry permit. The New York State Concealed carry firearms safety training requires (16) hours of in-person live classroom instruction and (2) hours of live-fire training by Duly Authorized Instructors. Our instructors are NRA Instructors, with decades of firearm instruction experience, which meets the requirements set forth in the New York State Penal Law section 265.00(19)*. Be aware that many providers of this training advertise that their instructors are DCJS Instructors, which DO NOT qualify as "Duly Authorized Instructors". A certificate will be issued upon completion of the NYS required 18 hours of training.
