Montana McLean, 2013-2019: Dalhousie University (co-supervised with Dr. Glenn Crossin) Ph.D. student working on seasonal movements and the effects of angling on White sturgeon in BC.

Christine Gilroy, 2018: MTA Biology M.Sc. student working on the reproductive biology of sturgeon using spermatozoa behaviour and kinematics, as well as seminal plasma composition. Christine is currently the Litvak Lab Manager. 

Bryan Morse, 2018: MTA Biology Postdoc working on sturgeon ecology. Bryan is currently a resource scientist for Acadian Seaplants. 

Margi Whitmore, 2017: MTA Biology M.Sc. student investigating seasonal patterns of movement and overwintering ecology of juvenile Atlantic sturgeon using ultrasonic telemetry. Currently a researcher with NOAA.

Keyvan Balazadeh, 2017: MTA Biology M.Sc. student worked on practical, non-invasive methods for sexing shortnose sturgeon. 

Caila Henderson, 2015: MTA Biology M.Sc. thesis entitled "Stable isotope analysis in sturgeon: interpreting ecological variation & quantifying turnover rates and fractionation". Currently an instructor at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, NS.

Andrew Taylor, 2015: MTA Biology M.Sc. thesis entitled "Movement patterns, habitat use, and seasonal distribution of Atlantic Sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus) from the St. John River, New Brunswick, Canada". Currently a biologist with the DFO in Halifax, NS.

Sima Usvyatsov, 2007-2012: UNB Biology Ph.D. thesis entitled "Modeling the Habitat of Shortnose Sturgeon (Acipenser  Brevirostrum) Throughout the Species’ Life History". Co-supervised with Dr. James Watmough (Math and Statistics Dept UNBF). Currently a research scientist with Golder Associates and an organic farmer.

Ian Butts, 2007-2010: UNB Biology Ph.D. thesis entitled "Reproductive biology and spermatozoa cryogenics of Atlantic cod: Applications for aquaculture production and gene banking". Co-supervised with Dr. Ed Trippel (DFO Saint Andrews, NB). Currently an Assistant Professor at Auburn University.
