Cars for Sale
1980 TR-8
Car was purchased in 1998 and currently has approximately 39,000 miles on the odometer and has no rust and has always been garage kept.
Work done by The Wedge Shop- (TWS) (Woody Cooper) who did a complete engine rebuild (4bbl.with Edelbrock intake manifold, high lift camshaft and new lifters, headers, ported and polished), and there are less than 4,000 miles since the rebuild. It now runs the way it should have from the factory, with the engine now producing about 285 h.p.
Many other wear parts were changed at that time including clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, gas tank, and suspension rebuild with poly bushings, wheel bearings, replaced tranny mount and shift bushings, clutch master, front pads, high torque starter, radiator.
Other work done includes, new Robbins stay fast cloth top as well as a new radio and speakers, electric cooling fan, front brake lines, rear wheel cylinders, rotors, battery, battery case, alternator, electric fuel pump, water pump, stainless steel exhaust system, new door cards, new seat upholstery and padding. Top boot and many spare and original parts are included. Bills for work done are available.
Even the clock is working. A/C not working although compressor and dryer were changed by TWS at time all the reconditioning was done. Not used in a long time and probably needs a charge or new expansion valve.
The car is registered and inspected in NYS and is very quick and really a lot of fun to drive.
I have too many cars to drive them all. Someone will really enjoy getting into it and driving away.

1962 TR-3B
This car was purchased as a partially completed restoration, subsequently completed by the current owner. The frame has been professionally evaluated and declared one of the best original frames he has seen. The restoration was completed in 2015 and has been driven minimally since on club events (<1000mi). There are countless new and refurbished parts. A link to a list is provided below itemizing all of the major components listing them as new, refurbished or original as appropriate. A few of the notable changes are; Miata high back seats, GM alternator, High Torque Starter, TR4 Steering rack conversion, Stainless Steel exhaust and headers, Toyota 4-piston Brake calipers and much more. This car starts and runs very well, and has as much or more pep than my 1974 TR6. This is essentially a new TR-3B.

Tips for your AD
Give the car's year, make and model.
Note the car's current mileage.
Name a price. If the price is negotiable, add "b/o," meaning "or best offer." If you do not want to bargain, add "firm," as in "$1,800 firm."
Give a phone number where you can be reached and a time when you will be there.
Describe the car's condition in a word or two. "Reliable" indicates exactly that; "clean" means no dents and good interior. "Running project" or "mechanic's special" means it needs restoration but has potential, "beater" means a jalopy reliable for neighborhood driving. "Beautiful" means exceptionally clean and appealing. Be creative but clear.
Describe your car’s best features – alloy wheels, new interior panels. Remember to include any modifications you or a previous owner made to the vehicle here.
State if the car has always been garaged.
Identify recent repairs or overhauls: new clutch, 6,000 miles on rebuilt engine, new tires, tune-up every 3,000 miles. If you have good maintenance records, state that. Old receipts are good evidence of work done.
Identify any cosmetic details, negative or positive: no dents, dent in left front fender, new paint, upholstery worn, new red paint.
State how many previous owners the car has had and how long they owned it for. Cars with fewer owners are more desirable.
State color. Internet photo's can be deceiving.
State any interesting details that might drive up the price: new Mag Wheels, Roll Bar, rare Model or option.
Reason for selling, Explain why you’ve put your car up for sale to reassure the buyer – perhaps you’re buying a new car or moving abroad.
Be honest – if your car isn’t in great condition, consider lowering the asking price. We all think our car is the greatest, but the reality is that most people have unrealistic expectations of what their car is worth. If you have decided to sell the car, set a realistic price and get it done.
