Here are some of the tasks we'll be doing during group work. Find them interesting? Then, join us.
M 11/2: What answer do you give to: 26 + 12 = ___ + 18?
T 11/3: Watch this video to learn more about Charles Dickens' life. What do historians think made Charles the writer he was?
W 11/4: We have been working on blog posts for the past two weeks. One person has actually finished her first blog post and started her own blog. Check out her first blog.
R 11/5: We have a pile of hypotheses that we posed and proved - and disproved - two weeks ago. Today, we are continuing with our line of thinking to figure out how a potato can light up a light bulb with the help of a battery.
F 11/6: We are reading about decision making and then prioritizing. The afternoon group is reading Robinson Crusoe - last week's reading left us with Robinson stealing a fishing boat. He has just thrown one man overboard and told him to swim to shore. Robinson is certain that Ishmael (the man he threw overboard) would tell his master where Robinson is headed. Scared, he has just changed course, hoping that he will not be caught. He does not want to be a slave again. Find out what happens next in chapter 7.
