About My Classroom

I am a google fanatic! I rely heavily on the Google Apps in Education (drive, calendar, forms, spreadsheets, etc). All of my curriculum is in my google drive and I deliver content for using Schoology. I love having a place to house my curriculum and an easy system for disseminating information, assignments, and also collecting work from my students.

I am a KCSD Technology Committee Member, KCSD English Language Arts Department Leader, KCSD Schoology Trainer. I've used Schoology as my LMS for content delivery, class discussions, posting links, and other items since 2011. Google syncs wonderfully with Schoology and it is a wonderful platform for not only CDL, but in the hybrid setting as well. However, I believe that it doesn't matter which system you choose, it needs to work for you!

About Me

I received a Masters in Education in Educational Technology from Boise State University in 2011. My Bachelor's of Arts is from Concordia University, Portland. My hobbies include playing golf, baking, traveling, reading, photography, and being with my family, which includes my husband, step-son, and almost three year-old daughter. We love to go on adventures and spend time at the lake in the summer!
