• Dr. Zhang attends the BMES annual meeting in Baltimore.

• Dr. Zhang serves as the Executive Conference Chair of the 7th IEEE International Conference on Universal Village (IEEE UV2024). 

• Dr. Zhang serves as the session chair of IEEE UV2024. The topic of the session was AI-assisted healthcare monitoring.

• Dr. Zhang serves on the organizing committee of the SEAS Cluster working group on personalized health at UB.

• Our research on the breast ultrasound patch is highlighted on CNN.

• Dr. Zhang is listed among the world's top 2% of the most-cited scientists (Stanford Elsevier Top Scientists List) in 2024.

Jun. 05 Dr. Zhang accepts the position from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University at Buffalo as an assistant professor. 

Apr. 29 Dr. Zhang visits the BME Department at University at Buffalo and gives an invited seminar on "conformable ultrasound electronics: from design strategies to health innovation".

Apr. 19 Dr. Zhang visits the MechE Department at University of Texas at Dallas and gives an invited talk on "conformable ultrasound electronics".

Dec. 21 Our research on breast ultrasound patch is featured as MIT’s top research stories of 2023.

Nov. 16 A research paper "A conformable phased-array ultrasound patch for bladder volume monitoring" led by Dr. Zhang, Mr. Marcus, and Dr. Lin is published on Nature Electronics. I appreciate the opportunity to work with CURT at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Oct. 10 A US Patent "Methods and apparatus for imaging with conformable ultrasound patch" by Dr. Zhang and Dr. Dagdeviren is granted. 

Oct. 04 A review paper "An Emerging Era: Conformable Ultrasound Electronics" led by Dr. Zhang is published on Advanced Materials. 

Sep. 27 The research on breast ultrasound patch receives a Commentary "From bedside to portable and wearable" from Molecular Oncology.   

Sep. 13 The research on breast ultrasound patch was featured on the homepage of the National Academy of Engineering Frontiers of Engineering.

Jul. 28 A research paper "Conformable ultrasound breast patch for deep tissue scanning and imaging" led by Mrs. Du, Dr. Zhang, Ms. Suh, and Dr. Lin is published on Science Advances. I appreciate the opportunity to work with MIT Center for Clinical and Translational Research.
