Hello visitors, Welcome to my website. Currently, I am a Research Scientist in the media lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and work with Prof. Canan Degdeviren. I received my bachelor’s degree in Electronic Science and Technology and my master’s degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics, both at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. I completed my PhD in Materials Engineering in 2013 at Auburn University, USA. From 2013 to 2019, I was a Research Assistant Professor in Materials Engineering at Auburn University, Postdoctoral Researcher in NanoEngineering at UC San Diego, and Associate Professor in the Electronic Materials Research Laboratory (EMRL) at Xi’an Jiaotong University. 

I have authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, including Nature electronics, Science Advances, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Advanced Materials, Nano Energy, etc. I hold three US patents and have written three book chapters. I also served as the Guest Editor for several journals. My work has been recognized by various prestigious media outlets, including ScienceDaily, Techxplore, Eurekalert, The engineer, ACM, ASME, MIT Technology Review, NIH Director's Blog, NIBIB, NIH Research Matters, NBC7 etc. My scientific interests mainly focus on Smart materials and flexible electronics,  including piezoelectric composites for sensors and transducers,  dielectric composites for energy storage, conducting composites for multifunctional applications, and flexible/stretchable electronics.
