SHOOTING YOUR FILM

The final product of this project is the production and promotion of your own short film. Collaborative work is very important to succeed in this mission, which means many of the tasks will have to be done in pairs or small groups. Likewise, there will also be individual interactive tasks to which you will access by clicking on the links provided.

Don't forget that your teacher is here to help you. Do not hesitate to ask her!!!

YOUR WORK.

  • Get together in groups of 2/4 people.

  • Decide on a place/places that will be the settings of the scenes in the film that you and your classmates are going to produce.

  • Agree on a film story and the characters that are going to take part in the film. Decide what events will happen and what the characters will say in each setting.

  • Write down an introduction to your film story and develop an informal conversation among the characters.

  • You can write your draft on paper or you can use storyboardthat. Either way, share it with your teacher when it's ready.

  • Distribute the roles among you all and practise the scenes as much as possible.

  • Film the scenes with the actors performing their roles.

  • Upload your film to YouTube. Alternatively, you can upload it to Google Drive and make it public so that everybody can see it. Either way, share the link with your teacher.
