Research in our group finds ways to create new optical devices through the development of light engineering methods and nano-fabrication techniques as well as the exploration of new optical physics. The types of research range from optical theory and design to fabrication and characterization, and are interdisciplinary including nanophotonics, plasmonics, quantum optics, metamaterials, microwave EMs, bio photonics, and nanomechanics.
