ABOUT LIBRARY

Vidya Prasarak Mandal Kinhavali's Arts, Commerce and Science College, Kinhavali established in the academic year 2004-05. Our College is permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai. And also have a NAAC accredited with “B” Grade in the year 2016-2017. We offer degree courses in Commerce and B.M.S faculty, Marathi, Hindi, English, Economics and History for Arts faculty while Chemistry and Computer Science and I.T. for Science faculty.

In our library 30-35 students seat at a time for reading and 70-80 students daily visit the library for various purposes. Library is on continuously developing ground. In 2016-2017 library installed the “E-Granthalaya” Open source software for library automation. Library also developing the Offline OPAC and will available the OPAC link on college website. We have many collections Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, World Books, Maps, Journals, Competitive Related Books and Magazines, old Question Paper, Syllabus, Bound Volumes etc. Now Library have 11358 books, 1947 books under the Book bank scheme, library get 561 books as donated from respected persons from the city. Other hand library provide the online Journals and magazines links of different subject. 101 Bound Volumes of Journals & Magazines, 03 Maps, 75 CD's and DVDs etc.
