Janet Segal

Ms. Janet Segal, Director and Board Chair, is the previous past Chair of the Charleston County Public Library Board. She is is an advocate for literacy and education and has served as a Director of Begin With Books (an affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library) and as a member of the Freedom School Advisory Board.

Kathryn Matthew

Dr. Kathryn Matthew coaches boards, donors, foundations, and policy-makers to achieve greater impact and success. Her work focuses on building community capacity to improve social and economic well being. She has served in various corporate, fundraising, museum expansion and national grant-making leadership roles.

George Stevens

Dr. Stevens is the founder of The GoodCoin Foundation an international grant-making agency that funds literally thousands of charities in the US, EU, Australia, and Canada. He has extensive experience with the nonprofit sector in Charleston as a result of his former role as head of Coastal Community Foundation
