Luísa G. Carvalheiro (PI)
did her first degree in Biology at the University of Lisbon (Portugal, 2002) and PhD at the University of Bristol (UK, 2008). After she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pretoria/SANBI (South Africa, 2008-2010), the University of Leeds (UK, 2010-2015) & University of Brasilia (Brazil, 2015-2017). From 2010-2016 she was linked to Naturalis Biodiversity Center (Netherlands) as a guest researcher. Currently, she works as an Adjunct Professor at Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG, Brazil), also linked to CE3C (University of Lisbon, Portugal). She acts as an associated Editor for Global Change Biology and the Journal of Neotropical Biology and was included in the Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researchers List in 2018.

Adrian González-Chavez (PhD)
Bachelor’s in biology at the Universidad de Los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela (2012) and got his masters and PhD at the University of São Paulo in Ecology. For his masters he work in the Bee Lab and the Landscape Ecology and Conservation lab, looking at the effects of land use on bee diversity and pollination service through fruit set experiments in coffee fields (2013 – 2016). For the PhD he continued to study the forest contribution to agricultural production, by analyzing regional crop productivity across the whole Atlantic Biome under the supervision of Jean Paul Metzger and Luísa G. Carvalheiro (2016 -2022). Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher linked to a collaborative project between the lab and Instituto Tecnológico Vale that aims to evaluate and reduce knowledge shortfalls on Brazilian pollinators.

Renata Souza (PhD)
is a biologist, did her master in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation (UFMT, Brazil, 2018) and PhD in Ecology and Evolution in UFG (2024). Currently she is a posdoc in the lab linked to the project INPOL (INCT). She is interested in understanding how ecological and evolutionary processes, in the face of the different ongoing environmental changes, can influence the interaction patterns between plants and pollinators in ecological networks.

Waira Saravia Machida (MSc)
is a Japanese-Bolivian Ph.D. student, master in ecology (UnB, 2021), and graduated in biology (UnB, 2019). She's interested in plant ecology, functional ecology, and morphometric geometrics. She´s currently interested in the effects of vegetation structure on pollinator communities.
Her PhD project is linked to the RESICLIM project, and also linked to the project "Tropical forests responses to a changing climate: a quest at the interface between trait-based ecology, forest dynamics and remote sensing" led by Jesus Aguirre-Gutierrez (Oxford University), who cosupervises her PhD.

Luiz Henrique Oliveira (MSc)
is graduated in biology (2019) by Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (PUC Goiás) where he studied Morphometry / Soil use in hidrografic basins. He did is M.Sc student in the lab (2022) where he evaluated how floral resources and frutification are affected by differents inputs of nutrients and he is now doing is PhD to further explore how such impacts propagate to higher trophic levels and change through space. He likes to play rpg games, watch animes, practice Krav magá and in his free times programming in python.
Stênio G. Gomes (MSc)
is a PhD student, graduated in ecology and environmental analysis at Federal University of Goiás (UFG, 2019), where he also did is MSc (2022). His current interest is to understand how the patterns of ecological interaction can be affected by habitat fragmentation and associated environmental changes. To achieve this, he is using a plant-pollinator interaction networks from diverse biomes. He also spends some time cooking and growing spices and tea leaves.

Poliana P. Menezes
is graduated in Ecology and Environmental Analysis (Federal University of Goiás - UFG, 2023) and currently a MSc student in Ecology & Evolution (UFG). She is interested in evaluating the influence of cerrado vegetation structure and the availability of floral resources on bee communities. His research focuses on the Emas National Park in Goiás, an important conservation area in the Cerrado biome in Brazil.

Patrick Menezes Consorte
Is graduated in ecology and environmental analysis (UFG, 2022), he is interested in understanding the ecology and distribution of native bees. He is currently doing is MSc in the lab evaluating pollinator limitation and dependency in cocumber plantations. He is also interested in estimating the bee diversity in Brazil biomes and helping organizing the laboratory bee collection.

Bruno F. Marques
is graduated in Biology (2021) did is MSc. student in Ecology and Evolution (UFG, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Brazil). He's interested mainly on the effects of global environmental changes on biodiversity, agroecology and restoration ecology, with a focus on the ecology of bees. He is currently working as a technician in the lab, helping organizing the bee collection and also investigating patterns of change on the functional structure of bee communities in biomes in Brazil along big temporal and spatial scales, as well as the effects of bee attributes on pollination efficiency. In the free time, he likes biking and practicing capoeira.
