Weather delays and cancellations:

- - - When there is a delay or cancellation, I post it to my Facebook page
    - When MCSD has a 2 hour delay my office opens at 10:00
    - When MCSD has a 3 hour delay my office opens at 11:00
    - When MCSD cancels school I decide whether or not to open the office on a case by case basis. Please see my Facebook page

Additional closings:

- - - Every year my office closes in the beginning of January and re-opens the first week in March; this is because there are no taxes due for me to collect until March 1st of the current year; I also use this time to prepare to send the current year's tax bills.
    - Hours are subject to change without notice.
    - My office is closed for the last 2-3 weeks of July and re-opens the first week in August; this is so I can prepare and mail the school district tax bills. Any updates to my hours will be printed on the new school bills in August.
    - If Steve Shannon Tire is closed, then my office is also closed.
    - I have 3 children and from time to time I need to stay home with them when they're sick. I post on my Facebook page when this happens.

Extra days in the office:

- - Unless the due date falls on a weekend, the office is always open on due dates. These include discount, face and penalty deadlines as well as the face deadlines for the MCSD installment payments.
  - My office is always open the Wednesday before the discount period ends, twice/year.
