About Sarah:
Sarah was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, earning a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2006. One year before graduating she was hired as a research assistant in CU's Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy (CASA), where building space-based scientific instrumentation inspired her to expand her creative skills into the world of engineering and try the other half of her brain on for size. She earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from CU Boulder in 2011. These are some of her projects during that time.
