C’est la fête nationale du Québec en ce mercredi 24 juin.
La Fête nationale du Québec, appelée historiquement la Saint-Jean-Baptiste, est célébrée chaque année le 24 du mois juin. C'est le moment de l'année où les Québécois se rassemblent pour exprimer leur fierté, leur culture et leur sentiment d’appartenance.

L’été 2026 arrive officiellement ce dimanche 21 juin.
Pour les météorologues, l’été commence le 1er juin de chaque année, mais l'été 2026 du calendrier astronomique arrive le dimanche 21 juin à 4 h 24 du matin (heure avancée de l'Est). Cet instant exact correspond au solstice d'été, qui marque également la journée la plus longue et la nuit la plus courte de l'année dans l'hémisphère Nord.

For meteorologists, summer begins on June 1 of each year, but the 2026 astronomical summer arrives on Sunday, June 21, at 4:24 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). This exact moment corresponds to the summer solstice, which also marks the longest day and shortest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

LA FORÊT DE MON PÈRE…

En ce dimanche 21 juin, c'est la fête des pères!
À chaque fois que je pense à mon père Léonard (1915-1976), il y a toujours une image de forêt qui apparaît dans mon esprit.
Mon père était d’origine acadienne et il aimait la forêt, et la forêt l’aimait…
Il possédait une grande terre boisée et mon grand plaisir était de la marcher avec lui pour voir les arbres qui y poussaient et marquer ceux qu’il couperait.
Mon père Léonard est né un 6 novembre et il aurait 110 ans aujourd’hui en 2026.

MY FATHER’S FOREST…

On this Sunday, June 21, it is Father's Day.
Whenever I think of my father, Léonard (1915–1976), an image of a forest always comes to mind.
My father was of Acadian descent, and he loved the forest, and the forest loved him…
He owned a large wooded property, and my greatest pleasure was walking through it with him and looking at the trees growing there and marking the ones he would cut down.
My father, Léonard, was born on November 6, and he would be 110 years old today in 2026.
