Gréoux-les-Bains:

Dominated by the Castle of the Templar Knights, Gréoux-les-Bains is a typical Provençal village, busy from March to November. In addition to its famous thermal baths and wellness treatments, Gréoux-les-Bains has many facilities and attractions that will enliven your stay. Every Thursday morning for example, you can enjoy the great Provençal market where you can find the right products for your stay: fruits and vegetables from the region, jams, lavender, farmhouse cheeses, Provencal fabrics... Or stroll the pedestrian streets of the old center on Friday evenings in July and August when traders offer their products in a festive atmosphere. For food lovers, many restaurants are available varying from Provencal and Mediterranean cuisine to gourmet kitchen. Finally, throughout the season, the city organizes various activities that will enliven your stay: free concerts, flea markets, craft fairs, exhibitions...

Around Gréoux-les-Bains:

Gréoux-les-Bains is located in the Provencal countryside, between the Verdon to the east, the Luberon to the west and the Mediterranean to the south. The city is thus an ideal starting point to discover the charms of Provence. During your stay, do not hesitate to visit Lake Esparron (13 km) with swimming and canoeing facilites in the lower gorges of Verdon. Take a stop in the charming village of Allemagne-en-Provence to visit its beautiful castle and buy some good local products in its "Maison de pays". And during the summer months, make a small detour to Valensole to admire and smell the lavender fields.

Other must-see attractions of the region are of course the famous Gorges du Verdon and the Sainte Croix Lake (40 km). Admire the turquoise color of the Verdon River, which winds between the high cliffs, from points of view as Point Sublime or the Mescla Balcony. And do not forget to stop in the charming village of Moustiers Sainte-Marie to buy perhaps some of its famous ceramics or just enjoy a good icecream.

Further north of Gréoux, you can enjoy the hilltop villages of the eastern Luberon, such as the pretty villages of Forcalquier and Lurs (40 km). Visit the Priory of Salagnon with its botanical gardens which combine herbal and flower gardens cultivated according to medieval traditions. Then, take a stop in Mane to visit one or more of the factoryshops where you will find the nice products of our regions: olive oil, honey, sweets, cosmetics...

Further south, you can visit the Mediterranean, for example the pretty village of Cassis with its beautiful coves (105 km). Swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean or enjoy a good fish in one of the many restaurants in the fishing port of Cassis. And do not forget the cities of Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, which offer many activities including cultural activites.
