Biographical and Professional Data

Born in Corpus Christi, I have lived in Texas and Colorado all my life. I learned an appreciation of music and education from my parents. They loved all genres of music and inspired me to a life long quest of knowledge and understanding. I have two grown children who are a joy to watch in their progress into adulthood. Animals have always been very important for me personally and whole host of them have blessed me. Right now, I am owned by two cats, Molly More and Richard Parker, who constantly keep me company and entertained.

Professionally, I am very organic in my therapy. Client safety is the most important aspect of the therapeutic process. My background comes from working wholistically, utilizing the processes of Hakomi therapy, Internal Family Systems, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy methods.

Hypnosis is another tool that I utilize, occasionally, to help the client move to the subconscious level and effectively address core issues.

Because of my ethical principles, I have continued to utilize other professionals for supervision and collaboration. This has allowed my clients to get the benefit of years of clinical practice through me.

It is equally important for me to continue my education through training and personal development. As my clients are growing and changing in their own process, so must I. It is important that I bring the best of me to each session. I continue to be committed to learning new techniques and modalities that will help the client grow.
