About Helen

Ms Helen Lu (a native and genuine Mandarin speaker from Beijing) is a professional Mandarin Chinese teacher. She was awarded best Chinese teacher by Manchester city council. She has gone through a number of professional training (e.g. Mandarin Chinese Professional Teacher Training Certificate awarded by Chinese Confucius Institute and Manchester Metropolitan University) and has more than ten years’ Chinese teaching and tuition experiences in England, Singapore and China. She can teach Mandarin Chinese for all levels of learners from beginner, intermediate to advanced. She is also specialized in GCSE Chinese and A-level Chinese tuition, as well as all aspects of language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Helen is a reputable and passionate teacher. She developed novel and practical teching methodology for children and adults of various ages and background to learn Mandarin Chinese language, using well selected textbooks. With Ms Lu’s tuition, children and adults’ interest and desire to study Chinese is stimulated greatly, and her students have made significant improvement on their Chinese language learning.
