My experiences as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, and preservice school building leader have taught me that our strength lies in collaborating and connecting with our colleagues, families, and the young people we serve. We can move a lot faster with a group than we can working on our own, individually. It truly does take a village to nurture and guide young people.

Through my leadership, I hope to empower and encourage students and educators to work and think outside their silos, with a spirit that accentuates and celebrates the richness of growth and change. Through this approach, students and educators will be grounded in a sense of community that is inclusive, appreciates all voices, and is committed to equity and social justice for all of our young people. A strong, supportive school culture is the pillar of social and emotional safety, academics, and general well-being.
