Wow--what a busy week it's been! On June 21, the Florida Supreme Court issued two related major opinions: one approving rule changes requiring email service, and the other requiring electronic filing. The email service rule was originally slated to become effective on July 1, 2012, but yesterday, the Court amended its opinion and pushed back the effective date to September 1, 2012. The e-filing requirement will take effect according to the following schedule:
