Climate & Atmospheric Physics Laboratory (Pilot Course) — Fundamental measurement techniques used for weather monitoring and prediction, and for an understanding of climate and climate change. Laboratory and field exercises involving sensors for temperature, pressure, and humidity at the surface and on balloon payloads. Skills in hands-on experimental methods, data analysis, techniques, and scientific communication developed.
Co-instructor: Department of Physics, New Mexico Tech in cooperation with Ken Minschwaner, Sharon Sessions and Brandon Smith (2024)[1, 2].
