Laura Capuano

Hello! My name is Laura Capuano and I am a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford in the EPSRC project "Model theory, functional transcendence and diophantine geometry" (P. I. Prof. Jonathan Pila). Previously I was a PostDoc at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa under the supervision of Prof. Umberto Zannier, as part of the ERC-Advanced Grant “Diophantine problems”.

My interest research focus on Number Theory and Diophantine Geometry. In particular my actual field of research is in problems of "Unlikely Intersections". Other interests are the theory of heights in Diophantine Geometry the application of o-minimality to Number Theory and to Diophantine Geometry.
