Larry D. Thomas, a member of the Texas Institute of Letters, was the 2008 Texas Poet Laureate. A longtime contributor of poetry to Right Hand Pointing, he has published eighteen collections of poems, most recently A Murder of Crows (Virtual Artists Collective 2011) and The Red, Candle-lit Darkness (El Grito del Lobo Press 2011). His New and Selected Poems (TCU Press 2008) was long-listed for the National Book Award.
Lisa P. Thomas, DDS, retired from teaching at The University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch in April 2011 where she was employed for twenty-five years as an associate professor in the Diagnostic Sciences Department. She has had photographs in The Texas Review, Timberline Press and Texana Review (online).
