Skills

Theoretical: evolutionary biology, ecology of populations and communities, population genetics, habitat use and selection, landscape genetics and genomics.

Statistics: Generalised Linear Models, Generalised Linear Mixed Models, multivariate analysis (PCA, DAPC, …), spatial statistics (sPCA, mantel test, causal modelling, …).

Bioinformatics: RADseq analyses (Genotyping-By-Sequencing), population genetic simulations.

Softwares: R (e.g., ade4, adegenet, adehabitat, rgdal, raster, lme4, …), Fragstats, QGIS, basic knowledge of UNIX, using facilities of computing centre, CDMetaPOP, STRUCTURE, Fast-GBS pipeline (Sabre, BWA, Samtools, VCFtools, Platypus).

Field experiences: animal count and telemetry, capture, handling and breeding of reptiles.

Languages: French (native speaker), English (nearly fluent, use as working language), Spanish (academic, limited oral but sufficient reading proficiency).
