I'm Roberta Lanfranco, Ph.D., post-doc at the University of Cambridge, working on a joint project with the Universitè Libre de Bruxelles. I'm in the Soft Matter and Biological Physics group and DiMicheleLab of the Biological and Soft Systems Sector of the Cavendish Laboratory. I received my Ph.D in Physics in 2015 (University of Milan - Complex Fluids and Molecular Biophysics Lab) where I also did one-year post-doc. Now I'm involved in a project which aim is to achieve superselective targeting in biological systems, as liposomes and bacteria, using multivalet interactions mediated by DNA. My previous work focused on the development of new plastic materials invisible in water to detect polluting agents into river water. For this last purpose, I've collaborated with the NAPES project.
