 The thermal effect of huse,it is the basic to calculate how many vent that your house needs

How to calculate the amount that your house needs

Step1:measure the area of the ceiling below the roof

if your thre are is 3000 sq.ft

Step2: calculate the vent area

3000 ÷ 300= 10 sq.ft

10÷2=5 sq.ft

Step3: calculate the vent amount 

5÷0.35= 15 （roof vent: mushroom-tye vent）

or:

5÷0.75= 7 (roof turbine 12 in dia)

 About roofing vent

step 2: Install vent on the right place. all the roofing vent close to the top.

step 3: Pay attention to vent kinds. Do not install the worry vent. Many roofer install roofing vent on the bath vent place ,It is so bad , a lot of wet air from bathroom go into attic.
