MISSION

The mission of Landmark Baptist College is to equip biblical leaders by providing biblical theological and practical training needed to support the local church in fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to the world.

VISION

The vision of Landmark Baptist College is to raise biblical leaders who are passionate in communicating the Word of God and the message of Jesus Christ and train them in servant hood and leadership who then shall train God’s people and lead them in ministry.

CORE VALUES

Life Transformation. According to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, the primary prerequisite for leadership in the body of Christ is godly character. Development of godly character and biblical convictions is emphasized both in the classroom and ministry situations. Landmark Baptist College believes all Christian ministries should be an overflow of a vital relationship with God.

Academic Excellence. We are committed to the total development in the education and training of church leaders in terms of the spiritual, mental emotional and moral aspects. We believe this commitment among the students would translate to ministry proficiency, ability to use critical thinking, character development and spiritual maturity in their personal relationship with the Lord and with the local church.

Necessary Leadership Skills. Spiritual leadership is servant hood. Peter said that leaders in the church are not to lord it over the flock of God, but to be examples, eager and willing servants. ”Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.” 1 Peter 5:2-3

Demonstration of Faculty. We believe in integrating what you learn in class can only take place if you are actively involved in ministry while you study. We are not theologians, but men and women who are involved in leading people to Christ, discipling them as a way of life. We trust God to impact the world while preparing out students for a lifetime of ministry. Here at Landmark Baptist College, the learning process does not stop inside the classroom. Teachers model what they teach, both in and out of the classroom. Teachers are expected to model a lifestyle which exemplifies a growing walk with God, godly character, ministry proficiency, and competent leadership.

Missions Oriented. We believe that every believer is called and empowered to be Christ’s witnesses to the world. We are committed in developing in its students a vision of reaching the world for Christ Major emphasis is given in exposing the student to world evangelism. Landmark Baptist College is geared towards the Hastening of Peoples Evangelization (HOPE 2020) which aims to plant 2,000 church ministries by the year 2020 in Asia and the world.

Application to Ministry. In order to learn how to have an effective Christian ministry, students must begin to build one while in Landmark Baptist College. Students participate in personal and group evangelism, discipleship building, leading small groups, church planting, teaching, preaching, counseling and many other areas of ministry.

Relationship Building. We recognize that one key to successful ministry is the ability to work together with other believers in attaining ministry goals. Thus, the school seeks to expose students to team ministry opportunities during their training at Landmark Baptist College. Students participate in ministry activities where they plan and carry out ministry in cooperation with local churches and institutions. We are committed in building into its students love and respect for the local church. While at school, students are involved in Baptist Mission Partner local churches. Involvement in the normal life of the church is required for all students.

King James Bible Exposition. We are committed to the plenary and verbal inspiration of the Word of God and its inerrancy; as such, strong emphasis is given to teaching and preaching the Word of God. We are committed to a high view of Scriptural inerrancy and key historical doctrines such as justification by grace through faith alone for salvation. Because of this commitment, Landmark Baptist College emphasizes teaching and preaching the Word of God in all its programs.
