Welcome

This site is dedicated to the men who served aboard LST 742 in the Pacific during World War II.  My grandfather, Ed Budziszewski, was one of the coxswains aboard the ship.  I have always been fascinated about WWII history, especially that of my grandfather, but have been discouraged by the lack of information regarding his particular ship and the campaigns that it was a part of.  It is my hope to connect with anyone else researching LST 742 and to meet other people who also have family members who have served with my grandfather.
