Spring/Winter Meeting Agenda
2/28/2026
Present: John Kerchner, Carl Kline, Dennis Spock, Charlie Shultz, Mark Neff, Dale Mackley, Darrell Becker, Tom Hoover, Jon Dolinar
1. Officers – staying, nomination for open spots – officers all staying
2. Dues – dues will remain at $60 - Either use the link on our website to pay your dues, or mail a check (made out to Lancaster County Golf Club) to Dennis Spock, 130 Conway Drive, Lititz, PA, 17543.
3.Berkleigh vouchers – will be a separate email explanation, but will involve option to purchase and sign up early
4. Royal Manchester – discussed if $90 was too much – input from 9 in attendance felt it was fine.
5.Club Championship format – will use same as 2025, three tiers, plus incorporate a 90% of course handicap factor.
6. 2026 courses – finalize formats – all fine
7. Review Tournament payouts – decision to make total payout for all tournaments equal – we had a discrepancy between April and October ($280), while the rest were $360 – vote to make them all $360 passed.
8. Open forum – Three items:
Emails, regarding to remove inactive members and those who asked to be removed. Might those removed and inactive want to come back at some point? Reason to remove was so that the entire list is smaller, and less likely to be identified as potential SPAM.
Second item regarding handicaps and tees played. Starting this year, if your index is 27.0 or higher, that golfer MUST play the forward tees.
Third item – the number of scores to qualify for the League Championship reduced from 7 scores to five scores
