I arrive in India in July 1947 from England. I attended La MArtiniere College from August 1947 to the end of 1949. I would have been in Year 5? when I arrived and Year 7 when I left. My brother started in the same year and left in 1948. He joined BISN & Co. I went to Victoria School in Kurseong and left there at the end of Year 11, in 1953. I am now the Computer Studies Co-ordinator at Ignatius Park College, Townsville, North Queensland. A Christian Brothers High School for Boys. Years 8 to 12. We have an enrolment of around 600 boys.

Hey , it was great to see all about my school once again. For those who don't remember me, I joined class 1 with Mrs. D .Sequeira as my class teacher. I got the founder's gold medal along with Bivash Dasgupta in '90 for being the most convincing person to say I Can't Stand Education ! I hated being a nerd ,Chucked my intentions about "I Still Can't" but I won the second heaviest category in boxing instead ('92)! Right now I'm a Pile Higher and I'm Deeper (PhD)in Physics at the Indian Institute of Science , Bangalore . Hope to set up my own home page very soon. Hope also to keep in touch with all the oldies as well as the Newbies in school. "VIVE LA MARTINIERE "
