Hello! I’m Ms. Noll, and I teach 10th and 12th grade English/Language Arts at Lewiston-Altura High School (LAHS). The 2021-22 school year will be my tenth year teaching at LAHS.
I’m originally from White Bear Lake, MN. I moved to Winona, MN, in 2002, and I completed my B.A. in English at Winona State University in 2006. I then earned a Master of Arts in International Business (MIB) from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota (SMU). While obtaining my MIB degree, I worked in the corporate world as a proposal writer for an industrial distributor. I enjoyed using my English degree in that role, however, I yearned to do work that I found more meaningful. During the 2010-2011 school year I participated in an Americorps Minnesota Reading Corps program where I tutored students in reading. I found that I loved working with students, so I decided to pursue a teaching degree. I completed my Master of Arts in Instruction at SMU in 2012.
Outside of school I love to travel, plant flowers in my garden, and spend time around the Winona lakes. My husband and I live in Winona, and we have a cat, Matilda, and a dog, Kirby.
I love teaching the wonderful students at LAHS, and I am looking forward to a great school year!
